Eilat Mountains Desert Sky

The altitude combined with the dry air and lack of light pollution facing north into the Southern Negev Desert makes Eilat (or Elat) mountains a great location for night photography. During the days the mountains are shining with vivid colors as each ridge was formed in a different geological era.
